I'm pathetic. I never blog and when I do, I do. It's the 2nd time this day. I was just thinking. I'm so lonely. I don't have any friends. I don't do anything exciting. My life is boring. I'm a housewife. My big excitement is looking after Kev. When I'm done with the housework, I sit and read. Apply for jobs online. Watch people through the window. Go to the library. I cannot watch loadsa telly cos it's boring. I don't call people up cos I hate talking on the phone. I wanna go to Barham park. There's a funfair there. Kev works. The 2-3 people I know are either working/broke/on holidays in Mauritius. I was telling Kev, "You know, I should go out more." He comes out with "DEFINITELY." Then I realised, "Yeah, I just sit at home and read. It's not boring to read. But where's the excitement?" I wanna go out. I wanna have friends. I miss Anna Ruby. I miss my job. My friends Pravita and Angela. Going to Bazar Port Louis and eating boulettes. I'm so lonely. HELP ME!

I just watched 10 Years Younger on 4 that left me blubbering like a John Terry look alike. This lady, yeah she wore glasses for like 20 years and she just went for laser surgery. 3 minutes each eye and she no longer had to wear glasses. I have been wearing glasses for the last mmmmm 10 years- I was around 14 then. Then I started doing contact lenses at 17 or 18. But still, when I wake up in the morning, first thing I have to do is either wear my lenses or hunt for my glasses. I have 2 pairs of glasses which I am always losing and 3 pairs of contact lenses. 1 pair's gray, for special days, and 2 pairs clear ones. One for everyday use and the other one I use whenever I forget to add solution to the 1st pair. Which is quite often. But imagine. Waking up one day, and just walking around without bothering about looking for glasses or popping contact lenses. One thing that makes me laugh is the amount of time that people who don't usually wear contact lenses take when they put them on. For me, it's not more complicated than pulling on my jeans and tshirt. Anyway I'm not here to discuss my dexterity at wearing lenses. I was just thinking about not wearing lenses or glasses and walking around. Must be really cool. Anyway you must be thinking, what's this bitch on about, there's blind people all over the place, she should be grateful. If you're thinking that, fuck you. Thanks for reading about my sadness though. It takes the weight off my tender, tender shoulders. Ciao bellos e bellas.

Ola, como vai? Oh God so much has happened since last time. Yes I did go to Blackpool by car and no, I won't go by car again. My back and waist still hurt when I think about that trip. It was 10 hours of sitting in a cramped car. Fuck it. And I wasn't even rewarded with the view of a sea when we got there. Well, there was a sea... But not quite to the standards us Mauritians are used to. Brace yourselves.
Actually Kev's cousin lives in Pleasure Beach in Blackpool. There's this funfair there, I went in but didn't do any rides because we were in a hurry. But next time we'll go in summer- when it's proper hot, and have a go at all the rides.
Then there was my birthday. It all went quite well, the cake looked nice as well but I made a mistake announcing to everyone that the cake was supposed to be a sponge one but it turned out to be a bit biscuity like. Everybody just stared at me and when it was finally time to cut the cake, Kev had to hold the table cos it was moving around when I was cutting it
That's me and my cards and stuff. I got a huge Me To You card and a big box of chocs and a white lion plush from Kev. Everybody said that me and the lion- whose name is, by the way, Kenny- have the same haircut. Hehe. So now I have 3 babies- Kenny, Kitty and Kelvina. When I told Kev that I'd called him Kenny, he said it was an ugly name. Only when I explained that "But Kev, Kenny starts with a "K", just like Kelvina and Kitty, just like their daddy, Kevin!" did he laugh and say I'm crazy. Just look at my babies. They so cute!
Then came the cake eating part.
I got stuck with so much cake I was suffocating. But all the same we had fun. That's it baby, seeya.

Off to Blackpool?
Ooh la la. It's been a while, hasn't it? Erm where do I start? Kevin's birthday. Yeah. So on the 25th it was my bunny's birthday. Since it was the first time we were celebrating a birthday together, I baked him a cake and roasted a chicken. My brother in law wouldn't believe it when I gave him cake and roast chicken to eat. He kept on saying "No, is it really yours? Where'd you buy it?" Oh well, admire them a bit.
My roast chicken
Ok the icing looks wonky but I'm no good with drawing...
Aww look at my baby!
Look at his cute, cheeky smile!
That night, he kept on snuggling and hugging me, saying "Thanks for the best birthday ever!" I even got him roses as a birthday pressie and he told me "It's the first time someone gives me flowers!"
It was so cool seeing him smile so much. He was really happy. Oh well, that made me happy as well.
Oh and tomorrow I might be going to Blackpool. I heard it's 5 hours ride by car... Boring...
